Dr. Waismann's third encounter - What's On Indonesia
There are two things in the modern world that know no geographical boundaries, namely trade and drug addiction. While official trade is closely linked to politics adopted by a government, drug addiction is in some ways also loosely linked to politics. Thus it is worry-some that drug addiction has now become an international issue to tackle. At most, governments can only impose harsh sentence on drug dealers, the likes of Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand treating even small amounts as a capital offence, but that's barely enough to minimize the social and health impacts of narcotic consumption.Read More...

Dr. Michael Reiter
"First of all, it is important to emphasize that the treatment has a solid scientific background. The proof for its success relies on the fact that 100% of the patients overcome the physical opiate dependency. The Waismann’s Institute uses a technology which grants every patient the opportunity to start a new life free of the physical addiction to opiates. Second of all, I would like to point out that the post-treatment follow-up reports indicate that the majority of the patient don’t demonstrate acute craving for drugs. In most of the cases there is absolutely no sense of craving. As you may know, the daily and hourly struggle against craving is the most important component of the relapse. Finally, the patients who undergo Dr.Waismann’s advanced method of detoxification, respond to Naltrexone in a very effective manner. Naltrexone provides an excellent "defense" against the relapse and exemplifies its effectiveness unlike its common usage. Various highlights of the treatment such as absence of drop-out cases and post-treatment craving and blockage, serve as a pivotal point for a new life for the patients particularly to those who require rehabilitation. In conclusion, this Method, as implemented in Israel by the Waismann’s Institute and in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health, is effective, safe and contributes to the progress of such a difficult treatment." Dr. Michael Reiter Clinical Psychologist in the Drug Abuse Department at the Ministry of Health. (Former director of Rehabilitation in CITA/Waismann’s Institute)

Your wellbeing is our only concern
If you are considering an alternative rapid detox treatment, please ask the following questions:
- Who will carry out the procedure?
If it is not qualified anaesthetists and ICU staff, alarm bells should start to ring! - How long will I have to take Naltrexone after the procedure?
This can only be determined during the actual treatment. Each patient's needs differ. - What dosage of Naltrexone will I need to take?
Again, this can only be determined during the actual treatment and a predetermined dosage can lead to severe side effects.
