Inside the clinic
The Barzilai Medical Center is a 500 bed general governmental hospital and a level II trauma center. It also has its own school of Nursing and is a teaching hospital affiliated with the Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
Dr. Waismann opened the ANR center in the Barzilai hospital. The unit is located in the nerologic department but it function as an independent unit with all the medical facilites needed. The ANR unit is part of the anesthetic department and is supported by all its personal and technical infrastructure.
