Dr. Waismann's ANR Method (Accelerated Neuroregulation) reverses dependency on Heroin, Methadone, Subutex, and prescription opiate medications along with the symptoms of dependency, using an effective, safe and humane treatment.
The ANR Method treats opiate dependency at the level of the receptors in the brain. The cleansing and blocking of the opioid receptors causes the usual withdrawal syndrome but this is controlled uing medication, including anaesthetics, which means that the entire process of withdrawal takes place while the patient is unconscious. When the patient awakes, withdrawal is over.
The next stage is the post-ANR blocking of receptors using Naltrexone. Daily use of this drug keeps the receptors blocked, preventing any craving. This means that when the paitient is discharged, typically one or two days later, they are no longer dependent and through the daily use of Naltrexone, craving is prevented, allowing the patient to recover completely, safely and effectively.
The treatment is performed by Dr. Waismann and his experienced, dedicated ANR staff. Our team of senior anaesthesiologists and ICU nurses are specifically trained for ANR and have successfully treated thousands of patients from around the world.
Some rapid detox centers treat addiction to one opiate with replacement-opiate treatment using drugs such as Methadone or Suboxone (Subutex). These treatments include opiates that often themselves lead to dependency, craving and withdrawal.
The ANR Method of rapid detox offers safe, humane and opiate-free treatment in a hospital environment. Patients drug-free, clean and no longer addicted within a few days, having experienced none of the ain of withdrawal. Within the past decade, thousands of patients from all over the world have become free from opiate addiction through the ANR Method.
